All of the mundane things that you do throughout your week matter to God. The laundry, the errands, cooking for others, your job, all of it, because God is in it.
Three Thoughts
This verse says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord." Whatever. That includes the spreadsheet and the sink full of dishes and the email response that you keep rewriting. God doesn't rank your to-do list based on what's spiritual vs what's secular. Everything can be used as worship to him.
COLOSSIANS 3:23
Paul points out that even eating and drinking, some of the most unremarkable things, can be used to glorify God. All of life is his, which means you can glorify him in every moment, before you've done a single thing that's impressive.
1 CORINTHIANS 10:31
You might be working for someone that never shows you their appreciation. If that's true, serve them relentlessly anyway. Nothing good you do goes unnoticed by God.

Prayer
Dear God, a lot of the time I treat my work like it's something different from you. Help me see today's tasks as something I can offer back in worship to you. And even when nobody around me notices the work I'm doing, remind me that you do and you're proud of me. In Jesus' name, amen.

In what way can you reframe your work as worship to God?
